Woes of a bus station.....

I am a bus station situated at KL in Malaysia.Yes,at the city wher the 2nd highest tower in the world can b found.And yes,in a country wher they have a world class racing circuit-Sepang.

You must be already imagining hw i look then.Big,beautiful,comfortable,fully air conditioned.I mean,I am the main bus station in KUALA LUMPUR.Tourist who wanna go around Malaysia wil b stopping by at me 1st to board busses to get to other places.So,i shud potray a positive impact on them on how beautiful Malaysia is.

But NO.A Big NO NO.I am your worst nightmare.Seriously.I am so crammed with the thousand hawker stalls.So many stalls but they all sell the da same stuff.Fruits,titbits,drinks,etc.Every shop is the same.And yet they must have 50 shops which sells da same stuff.

People will be literally pushing themselves to go about when its peak time,such as weekends.

No aircondtioning makes the matters worse.Heat worse.There are fan.ANCIENT FANS.Wich never seem to work.Or was never repaired.The ones that work moves so slow that even you can run around faster than it.

Air feels so humid at thick of sweat smell.Im sure some people wud have felt like fainting with the lack of oxigen.

SO many people but so few seats.

There was some renovation on me few months ago.I thought they were gonna expand me.Put aircondition.More seats.less stalls.Etc etc.

In my dreams i wud say.Nutin happened.Only the space got smaller coz they made proper ticket counters.Makes it more crammed than ever.

Theres been talks that a new bus station is to be built but i guess that is neva gona happen.Its jes talks.Not gonna happen for real.

Downstairs wher u wait for busses is HELL.Well,if u wanna knw hw hell looks like,u can visit me.

SO SMOKY.DUSTY.DIRTY.CONGESTED.

NO CLEAN AIR.NO AIR VENTILATION.NO PROPER WAITING PLACE.

DARK.The lights are so dim ther.u gota squint ur eyes to see better.u can easily get mugged ther.

thick smoke frm da busses fill ur lungs.ur eyes gets itchy.reddish.stings.if ur not so lucky,ull fall sick da very next day.all due to bus station.Pudu bus station.

Theres tis huge rubbish/garbage area at the bus parking/people waitin fer bus area.

Such an eye sore.I am.So ashamed to be what i am supposed to be.

And i envy Malacca bus station-Malacca Sentral.

Looks like an airport.Fully airconditioned.Loads of seats n seating area is like an airport.Basically the bus station looks like an airport.I hail Malacca's Chief Minister to come up with the bus station project.Because the previous bus station was bad.But i am worse then bad.I am terrible.Beyond repair.Only have to relocate.

With the new plan that public transport wil be improved,i hope they look into me.into makin me a better place to be.a better place you want to board ur bus.

I mean,its so embarassing dun u think?to have tourists comin to me.looking at me with such disgust.

the so called complex wic was supposed to be built finish-Plaza Rakyat, is stil not ready even after so many years.I am sure its another abandoned projects.Right at the heart of the city.Oh God!

and i feel bad when people fall sick when they come to me.n if u r to come here every single day,ur bound to get sum cancer.lung cancer.with all the contamination.air polution.i feel so helpless.

And angry.Very very angry.Dissapointed.Frustrated.U name it.

What else can be worse then tis????

SOOOOOOO Ungentlemen!!!!!!!

Last sunday wen i was havin breakfast at Amcorp mall,several things caught my attention...i like to look around n observe my surroundings....

case no.1:
there was tis young women sittin near us who took out a pack of ciggies n started smoking away.n i was like,is she plain stupid or wat?its a closed place n cleary a no smoking zone.its a shopping mall fer heavens sake!n wats more?there was a NO SMOKING sticker right on the wall at her place.either she is plain stupid,blind or cant read!such a bimbo!!!so not considerate!!!!!!!!!n wats baffling me is that there was an ash tray on her table!the restaurant stuch the No SMOKING sticker around n yet provided ash trays????

case no.2:
tis family came into the cafe.wit a pair of twins age bout 3 yrs n an elder one bout 5 yrs.all boys.mom in law oso was wit them.was seated soon.but not enuf chairs at da table.so wat was the dad supposed to do?get sum extra chairs rite?but nooooo....its the old mom in law who goes hunting fer chairs fer her young grandchildrens!
the food came soob.n dad started eating.n he was ALONE.yup,wife,3 kids n his mom wasnt at their table.stil ordering their fud at the counter n yet he had oledi ordered his n started eating.witout even considering his family.or at least his young kids!i was so pissed off.so UNGENTLEMAN.ok,not onli tat,no manners as well.i mean HELLLOOOOOOOO....ur wife n kids have not eaten yet n u r eating?my dad wil neva do tat.even til now he makes sure we have gotten our fud b4 he eats.example is wen we stop at the rest area in highways.he wil ask us to sit dwn n ask us wat we wanna eat,n he wil order it fer us frm da stalls.as i was complaining bout tis to tini,she sed tat Malays are brought up to serve the men 1st then only the women n children.she is a malay herself so she knws da culture.hw can the dad feel full n satisfied if his wife n kids have not eaten yet?y is it tat serve the men 1st then onli the others?discrimination i wud call it.even if the people r living in a modern world,the mind had yet to open.to act more considerate.tis applies to case no.1 as well.

i seriously dun get it sumtimes.not tat im busybody or wat but things like tis ticks me off.

im sure so many things u come across in ur life makes u ponder n gets on ur nerves.
even though we live in a modern world,modern society,some people's mind are stil like in the 20's.

wat can be done to make them more matured?more smart?more considerate?

teach them moral values i suppose.......or knock sum sense into their thick skulls...

Its 3.41pm rite now, n im sittin in da staff rum surfin da net fer recipes fer my mom.Talking bout fud,i ate a HUGE meal fer lunch.but then,i alwiz eat HUGE meals everyday.Im such a pig!Oink Oink!had rite wic was full to the polystrene brim n mutton n cabbage.

Weekend was gud.didnt spend much time resting but spent money.was sleeping over at tini's place til today morning.tini came to fetch me at bout 9pm on sat.i was super duper hungry by then.ate nasi lemak wit fried chic n fried egg at da stall near her place.

planned to watch da Serenity DVD wic i had brought but tini fell asleep 15 min into da mvie.she was tired.n i was too.i was dozing of soon.decided to continue da mvie da next day.tini asked if i wanted 2 have bfast at burger king da next morning.n being a PIG,i sed yes of coz....lolx

i was up by 10am....gt up ealier bit but was tossin n turnin tryin 2 force myself ro sleep as i wanted to sleep longer tis weekend.but cant of coz.got up n took my bath.then gt ready to go fer bfast.

went to bangsar.n as tini always say,i bring parking luck,we managed to get a prking right in front on McD da moment we were ther.rushed to Burger King as it was already 11.15am n tini sed bfast is over at 11.30.but alas,we were told tat bfast was ONLY til 11am.damnit!

wasnt so hungry yet,so decided to head of to amcorp mall as tini wanted to get her shampoo ther.

well,the shampoo she was lookin for was not in any of da hairdressers.tummy was grumbling by then,so had a heart breakfast meal at Ka Kei Dian.Had sambal bread n Ka Fei Dian bread between us n cups of coffee.da sambal bread was delicious.they have tis old ipoh coffee concept.price was reasonable too.made up my mind to drop ther each time i go to Amcorp.hehehehe.....

walked around in amcorp.was xcited to see the flea market as i was lookin fer sum pearl chain.just like the ones i saw Nora Danish wearin in Puteri...:P...spent more than one hr at the accessory stall.tini n su bought me a pearl chain as my belated burfday gift while i bought da matchin earing n bracelet.its custom made.u jes choose da colours n they wil do it fer u to suit ur taste n size.wasnt pricy too.tini bought fer herself 3 pearl bracelets.

our next stop was section 14.went to jaya supermarket n i bought tis super nice n sexy black blouse fer wrk.i keep sayin i have enuf black outfits but i cant seem to stop the urge to buy them.n i wil onli buy if its on sale n i have a good bargain.im a thrifty spender!i sepdn wise!...:)

Had lunch at Chicken rice shop ther.they had tis new menu-curry chic rice set.got a fishbal soup to go along wit my lunch.overall,it was ALOT!seriously crazy man!i felt so difficult to move around after a Bombastic meal!

Not enuf,bought da new nestle corneto ice cream.wanted to eat at tinis hse.but ended up havin it-i mean forcing it dwn my throat as we went to the car wash n it was taking sum time.

super duper sleepy n tired wen i gt bck.bathed n su gt bck frm her sis's place.n it was off to bangsar nite market.bought laksa asam fer dinner.1 small container of marjerine,peanut n gardenia bread to be kept in da ofis as my breakfast fer 1 week.

finished da DVD at nite wit su n tini.da mvie was good.funny da samt time too.

slept close to 12.30am.

anyways,i had a really good weekend!cant wait fer da end of the month coz i wan go shopping fer sum stuff at sg wang!

Weekend plans

Yup.am gona bore u wit my weekend plans post.Y?cost my weekend is gona b boring unless sumthin interesting happens.

My sis is bck at mlc since last mon til mon morning.wic means ill b alone tis weekend.wont b seein or goin out wit bf tis weekend.
So,ill b sleeping over at tini n su's place frm tom til mon.Su is goin to her sis's place in cheras aster wrk on sat,so ill go bck to my apmt 1st after wrk n tini wil fetch me.

wil jes watch astro n read da Da Vinci Code novel wic i had printed n binded today....:P...found the FREE ebook ACCIDENTLY while surfin da net two days ago....lucky me!hehehehe....wil spend time over da weekend readi it as i plan 2 watch da mvie next weekend wit my bf...

neways,other than tat i guess ill b doin sum sketches....get sum ideas to create artwrk to add up to my portfolio......

n fer da 5th or 6th time,the new intake wic was due tis comin mon is postponed AGAIN...new date is said to be on June 1st but i doubt its gona happen....coz 3rd ois a public holiday fer Agong's birthday....

am jes doddling wit the knowledge research centre wic im in charge here...other than that,doin nutin of coz...

plan to sleep alot tis weekend...im gettin lazier....sumone plz smack me!...:P

fer mothers day,me n my sis bought my mom reading glasses from the optical shop and a beautiful blouse....:)

plan to buy a gold necklace fer her burfday in july.....she has already choosen the design...lolx...

Mornin!

Yes,im bck.and No,ive not fully recovered yet.
I left work by 3.3pm on wed i was rushing to the panel clinic in Kerinchi Station.It was about to rain,n i didnt wanna get myself wet n worse.
Poliklinik Gomez is situated in Kerinchi station building.It was jes right opposite da ticket kaunter.The doc sed i was down wit viral fever n URTI-upper respitory tract infection.
Asked fer an MC the next day.Got it...:)...
Went bck,packed my stuff as i wil b goin bck home.Friday was a public holiday fer Wesak.
Left to Pudu by 8.30.Got 9am ticket.changed my 6.30pm ticket fer it.Reached home by 10.30.
was jes lazyin n restin at home til mon.boarded the 5.30pm ticket to KL on mon.mum packed dnner fer my sis n me.was kinda rushin coz my sis was nite shift n she wud b leavin by 8.30.
reached my apmt by 8pm.
gt bck to wrk yday.my throat has not fully recovered yet.i think its stil numb or smthg.n my voice is a bit funny.not painful though.can feel pleghm in my thoat.
ive finished my antibiotics n etc.i hope i do recover fully!!!!!!!!!!
neways,things r da same in da fosi exeept tat we r bit busier.preparin fer da new intake on mon.i hope they do come tis time.the intake has been postponed since feb.n i wil onli have classes to teach once the new students r in.

Oh No!Not Now!

Great.

I am sick.Down with a bad sorethroat,running nose- the beginnings of flu n everythin else.Body is slighty aching and im positively weak right now.
On sun,i was coughing all of a sudden-out of the blue.It was as if i had inhaled smoke.My thoat was irritated that time.Coughed for bout 5 min n that was all.
I guess thats da time the virus got into me.Seriously.

Woke up in da middle of the nite yesterday wit a sorethroat.Finished one whole pack of EXTRA STRONG Strepsils lozenges but sorethroat is stil ther.DAMN!

Bit of running nose.I knew that i was falling sick.N saw wat was coming-Fever,flu,cough.

I think its throat infection,jes like da last time.
Jes ate honeydew,watermelon n guava fer dinner.Drank lotsa water n green tea.Hot brewing Green tea.Took da flu,fever n sorethoat medication frm last time's sick medication.

Not much of a difference.Am weaker today.I am goin to da panel clinic at kerinchi station at bout 4pm.So wil ask permission if i can leave eary bit.Not that im doin anythin in da ofis today.

If can wil ask fer MC tom.Wil b goin bck tom after wrk.Fren bought me a 6.30pm tiket to mlc frm pudu.But if im on MC,ill leave in da mornin itself.Wil change da ticket i have wit a mornin bus ticket.

Moms complainin that im falling sick too often.The last time i was sick it was in Feb.Tats like 3 months ago.When i told her that,she told tat ppl fall sick like once in 6 months.Parents r like tat.Neways,can wait to get bck home.Told mom to cook rasam fer me.It'll do good for my sorethroat n flu.

I took leave on sat and mon.Friday is a public holiday fer Wesak neways.So ill b comin bck on mon.Dowan get stuck in da jam on sun.

Its a gud thing i dun have english classes on sat.All academic staff had to take an English Proficiency test when you join.Out of all the staff,Me,Abs,Irwan,Deepa n Jerah is exempted from English Test.Which means we passed the test.So those who didnt,wil have to undergo english classes depending on ur Level.Classes are on sat frm 8.30am-1pm.

When everyone else is in class,the 5 of just wil jes do nutin much.Finish up any wrk we have,surf da net or chat chat.
